The Protectors are Star Saber's garrison on the planet V, stationed just outside of the miniature empire of Jhiaxus, a rogue Decepticon warlord turned empire builder. They were the first Autobots to make contact with Bludgeon and his Decepticons on the Warworld. Knowing they would try and pool their forces to build a massive weapon, Star Saber joined forces with Optimus Prime to stop the threat.
