One day, George the steamroller was waiting for Ashley to take him to a new work site. He was being rude to Mike and Bert when she puffed up. "You're just worn out wheels on worn out rails!"

"You need rocks for your roads!" Replied Mike. "And we're helping you!"

"I need to flatten little engines in the scrapyards!" Retorted George. Ashley arrived and found the whole display quite repulsive as she coupled up to his well wagon and puffed away. "Railways are no good! Turn'em into roads!" The small engines were pleased to see him leave, but felt sorry for Ashley now that she had to deal with him.
