Description Download and Zoom in for a better look!!

This is the first time i've ever tried doing a tutorial.
I think this one shows more how I draw my canines rather than how TO draw canines.
I'm not the best at explaining but i'll give it a try:

Step 1: Using a red color and alot of circles I sketch out how I want the head shape to look like.  Sometimes it's good to have a reference
photo nearby if you get confused where to put certain things. Example the nose, eyes etc. Don't try to make it look perfect, it's just
a rough sketch!

Step 2: When i'm happy with how the sketch turned out I start filling in the lines with a black color. This time I zoom in and try to follow the lines i'm the most pleased with. As you can see, I change the lineart in different places to make it look better. Example: The mouth area.
I draw the black lineart with confident strokes and try to make it look as smooth as possible. They're all straight lines, I put in the ''fur-lines'' last. (I hope you kind of understand what I meant there lol) .

Step 3: Now I erase the red lines and start coloring, I start off with one color on the whole canine, in this case the grey one, and later fill in with darker grey and a lighter grey using the Brush and Airbrush.

Step 4: When I've put the markings on the right places I start shading. I shade very fast using the eraser aswell as the Airbrush. Then I put in some lightning and DONE! ^^

Remember; We all have our own ways of doing things, sure, my way may be different from what other artists does but if it works then just go with it. Don't give up if the first time didn't end up ''perfect'' you'll learn over time and get better and better.
There is so much help out there from big artists on the internet you can learn from and improve.
I didn't have that for my first few years of drawing, I'm a self-taught artist and I have been drawing for like 11-12 years now and i'm still learning.
I'm not sure if this tutorial helped you in any way but if it did then i'm happy, Keep on drawing guys!
