Continuing my historically accurate Barbie princesses. This is buckets of fun!Although Rowena's costume screams rococo, I went more for the very late 1700's for Genevieve, when a more 'natural' look was starting to become fashionable. It seemed to fit the princesses more; after all, the style's probably more suited for things like dancing and stilt-walking--if any royals would start the trend it would be these princesses.

I love her ballet slipper peaking out from under her skirt. I also love that you kept it slightly rococo while going for a different time period. I love the elements you've transformed, but kept, here. The rose on her shirt is one of my favourite things.

I REALLY like the historically accurate Barbie princesses. Barbie was a huge part of my childhood, and this is so interesting to me.
