Yes and no. Talk to Kubo. He'd know for sure. Tensa did call himself a different person saying that he wasn't old man Zangetsu. So it's anybody's guess at this point.

Actually in the anime it's made perfectly clear that Hichigo is a seperate being that was born from and dwells within Ichigo's mind by appearing as a seperate form inside of Ichigo's mind. Does Tensa Zangetsu apear as a seperate being inside Ichigo's mind in the manga or anime?

And Tensa Zangetsu looks so cute! He stayed in the coloring lines, too! That makes him all the more sweeter. And I can totally picture Zangetsu starting his sentence off in a nice tone and then deadpanning a 'Now go away.'
