Wah! Not a book! O_o...yeah, anyway. Here's some lineart that I can't colour due to losing my wacom pen, and i'm flipping well not doing it with the mouse! Yeah, yeah, half the background is drawn in photoshop. But it does make precise lines easier and you won't be able to tell much when it's coloured, at which point this will go in scraps.
So... here's one grey/white ghostly hedgehog ghosting his way randomly around ARK. People call him Spectre. Actually, he's Shadow, or at least what's left of him after that burning up on re-entry business. A sort of phantom made of Chaos and memories, anchored to our reality by his one remaining inhibitor bracelet.
Every time I draw this guy his design and history changes, probably because Shadow's backstory changes every time Sega release a game D: Think I have him sorted now, and hopefully I've finally pinned down the design... unless Sega do something else wierd <.<'
(Yes. That glass would have blown -out- of the ARK along with all the oxygen, but ARTISTIC LICENSE DAMMIT)
Will be coloured. At some point.

I wouldn't be surprised if they did *shakes head* Shadow's been dead and possibly a clone or maybe not and then a sort of alien and after that a spy... a gender change would probably be the next logical step for these people O_o
Hehe, and Spectre's been around for yeeeeeears. He turned up in a fanfic in 2002 or something, I just don't draw him that much XD

I like this take on Shadow much better than Sega's. Honestly, it would have been a lot better if Shadow had died a heroic death instead of cheaply coming back to life.
He's like, 50% cooler in this picture.

So you are of the mind that Shadow didn't survive Sonic Adventure 2 after all?
He was in his Super Form when he fell, I think he could have reasonably survived with only amnesia to show for it.
After all, Shadow in his own game had flashbacks of fighting with Sonic in space. : 3

No, I totally get you. My own gallery may not show it, but myself and my wife are -huge- into Sonic, enough that we have our own RPG system for it.
We've discussed at such length filling in the gaps for the Sonic setting that my wife keeps a folder of our ideas for their world on it, which we use as a setting corebook for our own stories.
Shadow, especially, has gotten an enormous focus from us.

Oww dude, Shadow looks so cool! Your furry style makes me speechkes. I think it would looks better colored, but line arts are as cool as colored pics. The broken window looks so amazing, too. Realy, realy cool.
