Description 20 years at $200/day and you expected to pass the background check at the police department? I don't think Judy could hide something that big.

This is my 2nd attempt at line art. I think I need to use something other than Photoshop for line art. I'm still pretty new to digital art so I am not well-versed with what's out there.

Would the Zootopia version of the IRS come after him if he doesn't take care of his taxes quickly enough?

This is why I don't like getting too much homework, or else this happens.

Nice idea. It's good that Nick, now making honest money, is trying to get right with the law. No one enjoys paying taxes, but we all have to do it.

He should ask Judy for help. She's good at multiplying.

I thought Bunnies are not good at math.

Oh boy! What a mess he has made for himself. I'll bet he received some help from Judy to get things in order so he could become a police officer. Nice drawing!

THANK YOU SO MUCH swishchee!!!! YOU ARE SOME OF THE FEW PEOPLE WHO ACTUALLY WENT BACK TO WHEN NICK HAS THAT TAX PROBLEM (which Judy mentioned)!

I am so sad that Disney cut out this tax problem, Nick Wilde's past, the fate of the guard wolves, and the affection between Judy and Nick.

P.S. KEEP DRAWING THIS AWESOME ART!!!

I don't think it was cut out. It's just was not mentioned. But in the everything another I completely agree with you.

I think you did pretty good with the linework. I use medibang paint pro for my digital work. Maybe you'd like that.

Thank you! I will definitely have to look into these alternatives. I'm more of a painter and prefer blasting uncontrolled lines on paper for base sketches, but I'll likely still do linework every now and then. :]

I hope Judy can handle a two-person job because Nick is going to be off duty for a while.
You better regret that or your favorite partner will be in jail for 5 years and by then, he probably won't forgive you for a week!

I think Judy will pull a few strings to get that tax problem out of the spotlight...only to recovered by another jealous police officer...(*suspense*).

Well, I doubt Nick left any paper trail. The only thing Judy had was his confession, and she obviously destroyed that tape later.

swishchee In reply to Jose-Ramiro [2016-05-09 07:55:54 +0000 UTC]

I figure it'd be something like, unexplained possessions. Not that he really has much to begin with!

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Jose-Ramiro In reply to swishchee [2016-05-09 08:03:16 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, he even lives under a bridge; again, Nick is very good exploiting loopholes. He surely lives like this both to avoid the 'unexplained possessions' thing, and to escape in a hurry if he ever needs to.

YoshiRainbow [2016-05-04 19:17:03 +0000 UTC]

Well I subscribe to the headcanon that Nick was just boasting about the $200/day and actually doesn't make enough to pay taxes, or he's exempt in some other way. He went to the trouble of doing everything else legally, so it just doesn't make sense for him to file false tax reports.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

swishchee In reply to YoshiRainbow [2016-05-09 08:01:07 +0000 UTC]

I figure that would be a boasting thing. $200 a day selling to hamsters!

If it's vectoring that you need, you could always try Adobe illustrator, or its free, open-source cousin, Inkscape

swishchee In reply to thomasmason417 [2016-05-09 08:02:15 +0000 UTC]

I've pondered doing vector stuff. Just not sure how cumbersome it might be manipulating splines though. I think I just need more muscle control.
