A CD cover for fun - I've developed an obsession for doing them!
This was for a punk mix I burned titled "Carmelized Punk" - hence the sucker/guitar.

Why thank you! This probably took me 5 hours total. I just did a sketch on paper, scanned it in to Photoshop, and used the lasso tool in Photoshop to select different areas to color them in with solid colors. Then I just used different brushes to ad texture. The main thing to make a piece like this successful is to sketch a good composition, and then work a lot with the colors to make sure they go well together and aren't too same toned.

Not a problem! Its cool to share techniques with other artists and stuff. I mean, I guess I could do a tutorial on that style I use for the CD covers, but I don't think there are enough people requesting one yet. I want to try to get into doing graphics for bands - like CD covers, tshirt designs and stuff. That'd be cool.

Why thank you! You'll probably get to go back to Switzerland. I remember my dad saying on one of our trips "This is the last time we can go as a family!" cause some of us were going off to school or moving out or whatever, and we ended up going back like 2 more times. So you never know! Just save up money and go - like I am! You could always do it.
