Description This is the page six of the story. Once again, I made this a title page. I've always been particularly proud of the way I have rendered the Chipettes tree house and their school.

The Chipmunks and Chipettes are owned by Bagdasarian Productions and their affiliates.

Really beautiful page, lifts my spirits.

And I think it's a shame that the Chipettes had to move out of their cute treehouse. A tree is where Chipettes belong.

Yeah, I agree with you. That treehouse was lovely!

I suppose having minors live alone was too much of a fantasy...perhaps a nice compromise would've been a treehouse in Ms. Miller's back yard?

You're not the only one who noticed. That's probably why they had a well-meaning but neurotic old lady named Ms. Miller eventually adopt them. Thanks for the comments.

I kinda felt relieved when the little anthropomorphic girls went to live with a "granny"...living on their own in a fancy treehouse is just as "unbelievable" as them hanging high by their teeth on rings at a circus (and rapidly spinning, too!), riding an oceanliner all the way from Australia to New York (hey, how do you get over there? Ask Columbus, perhaps? And they probably changed each other's diapers on the way, too!), and working for a restaurant (even hauling heavy garbage bags) when they were still tiny babies!

Be glad to talk chipmunk with you anytime! (You like chipmunks, huh? No wonder; you look like one!)

Very funny. The Chipmunks themselves were nearly as capable at a very precocious age too if you recall. A lot of questions are never fully answered. I just assumed they had *some* human agent or manager to take care of affairs like concerts and setting them up in the tree house and falsified documents to enroll them in school. Why was this character always out of sight? Nice topic for a fanfic, eh?

I was in love with the Chipettes as recently as 1990 when the program was in weekday syndication. There are some passing similarities between them and the Powerpuff Girls: The pig-tailed blondes, the red-head leaders. Even though their personalities don't match at all. Also the fact that the PPGs were coherent, intelligent, and physically-gifted beings from the very start. OK, maybe the Chipettes weren't BORN like that, but they couldn't have been more than a year old or so in that episode you're thinking of. Their "current" age is actually at least 9...they just look like kindergartners because of their dwarf like bodies. They're several years older than the PPGs, even though Blossom and Buttercup act much older than five too.

You're the first deaf person I know of that likes this program. Too many deaf people, when asked about the Chipmunks, will just say "I can't listen to music so what's the point?" It's a shame so many people missed out on a decent cartoon because they thought it was just a glorified music video.

And thanks for the lengthy comments...I really appreciate them!

Shrug, I watch anything I like, even if they consist mainly of music. In fact, musical videos of the 1980s (when MTV first started) really, really amused me (a very weird one had humans in white with eyeballs for heads and it ended with a baby doll's head moving weirdly on a kind of lever with its weird moving shadow cast against the wall.) And the image of a young man suddenly waking up to see a girl rapidly spinning around in a chair upside-down on the ceiling...loooollll!!! Uh, remember a cartoon dancing girl with a feather headdress, shades, tight pants, and...nothing covering the breasts?

Most deaf kids are pretty dumb, though. I remember a few of my classmates learning at a third-grade level in JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL!

What struck me weird back then is how three SMALL girls could live by themselves in a dollhouse up in the treetop. Who built it for them? After all, it's just a fantasy.

Nice page BTW!
