Description
This photograph was taken last summer during a trip to upstate New York. The rainbow is the result of the spray created by the a waterfall in the Genesee River in Rochester. Hopefully I'll get to see and photograph even bigger rainbows at Niagara Falls later this month.Related content

Lousy 2-D photograph. In person the rainbow appears to be floating in the middle of the air.

The rainbows ARE even bigger in Niagara Falls! In fact, they actually shine against a CLEAR blue sky! And, they provide depositable rainwear because it rains even during the sunniest days there!
Was that when you visited me?

Yup. In fact, if you didn't point it out, I may have missed it entirely!

Yeah, I almost paid it no mind...until you pointed at it and said "rainbow" out loud. HEY, didn't DA have a rainbow emoticon?

No, sorry. But pink triangles will do, though!
