This photograph was taken last summer during a trip to upstate New York. The rainbow is the result of the spray created by the a waterfall in the Genesee River in Rochester. Hopefully I'll get to see and photograph even bigger rainbows at Niagara Falls later this month.

The rainbows ARE even bigger in Niagara Falls! In fact, they actually shine against a CLEAR blue sky!
