I myself am protected from Mandelborg by having 600 thumbs for mb3d. But: must...always...look at...great detail...and...surreal effects...created...by...skillful...mb3d...artists (like this one; I like the way "A"-like characters can be seen and discovered throughout while not distracting from the whole).

Cool Asurf nice shot. Everything is addictive when it comes to MB3D not just Asurf, Neg Scale Rotboxes, FIP Hybrids, Polyfolds, DE Combinates with d.IFS Spheres, I'm a sucker for them all

Thanks, man! It's the most addictive program I've ever used. It's both fun and stressful (in a good way). There's nothing more exciting than having a piece finish rendering and getting that "Aha!" moment, and then immediately moving on to the next piece.

Very nice shapes!
I find the HiQual option on the Navi makes it easier to find my way around. That and hitting F2 a lot. At this point it's easier for me to navigate around an Asurf than a box, but it's probably just a matter of practice either way.

And thank you! I will probably be doing a lot more A'Surf renders now that I have a good set of base parameters. I will try not to spam all the inbox stacks with too many though!
