A collab with the wonderful Mishuxae ! She did the most wonderful character art, I did the background and shading.

Haruspex tried, as much as she could, to not be a burden. The Opposite in fact; she wanted to help so badly that it hurt.
So, when Ozan went to fetch some herbs, she tagged along, under the guise of helping carry more back. It didn't hurt that she was angling to become a Mender herself, (though she would die rather than mention such a thing, for fear of the stinging reminder of her last failures)
She gave him his space, but cocked her head; how did he know what to delicately section out from amongst common, frost-laden grasses?
It cemented something in her mind, however. However, that this lit a flame of interest in her mind that she hadn't had for an Acolyte's job; enough to warm her paws on this frosty morning.
