Washing up from the crashing, hellish tummult of floodwaters, Delphi awoke to a sharp inquiry as to their name, and if they were alive.

Woozy, drenched, and feeling like they'd been held down and beaten by a dozen strong wolves, they raised their head with an unfair level of effort, twitching paws and tail, insuring every limb was present and correct.

They had thought they were dead, in truth, so coming to in this strange forest was... a welcome relief.
