And with this update Cherman introduces Jackie, Kris, Minerva and Miranda into the cast.12 are known. 8 are left.

Jackie sucks, Kris and Miranda are awesome, and Minerva doesn't deserve a third chance in my opinion.

I like Kris's inclusion, she was a fave of mine in SFC2 ^_^ Miranda's okay, if not a little... odd, of a choice.

I see a lot of people saying that Jackie and Frank would go good together, but I'm not so sure. One of Jewel's big reasons against Frank's was that he was keeping weak players like Cherman and Prescilla. That's definitely not the kind of thing Jackie would like if it happened again.

JACKIE - Him and Frank are apparently what I get for getting rid of Skyler early on in my Alpharama fic. If they team up, look out, ladies!
KRIS - She and Chris were part of a season 2 gimmick, but apparently Chris was holding her back. Let's see how she does on her own!
MINERVA - She's hot. What's more to say?
MIRANDA - She had the potential to be the winner of Season 5... maybe she'll become even more cutthroat as the wings on her back seem to indicate!

Jackie: One of my favorites in SFC8. Hopefully he can make at least mid-jury or higher, but then again, he could piss off any allies he has and lose because of it.
Kris: An overall awesome character. I'm excited to see her return without Chris.
Minerva: I don't think she's going to be the first boot, but she won't last very far due to her reputation as a villain.
Miranda: Never cared for her, but since you've got something planned with her, I'm willing to give her a shot.
I was wrong about Matt, Robert can still be confirmed, and Xero makes sense.

Pre-AS: Baxter, Phil, Kris, Minerva, Miranda
SFC7: Chloe, Chrii, Ventious
SFC8: Emilee, Heinz, Jackie, Oehda
SFC9: Adrian, Bonnie, Frank
Jackie: The difference between him and Frank is that Jackie wants to take the strong with him to the end while Frank simply wants to take men. That is what might make the difference for this character because he is more capable of working with women. He is also very predictable, so he may not become an early target because he doesn't scheme. I'd say he has good endgame capabilities though if he wants to win, he has to make sure he is sitting next to very unlikable people. He isn't exactly a good social game player.
Kris: She actually has what it takes to win this game, on paper. Chances are though that she won't make it to the end.
Minerva: She won't be the first out but she sure as hell won't win. It would look quite imbalanced to make the winner be the only player that has played the game twice already.
Miranda: Miranda is a good alliance member so people may trust her, but prepare for her to be backstabbed by her own alliance.
I'm pretty confident at this point that we will be seeing Robert and Starr and I know Xero is confirmed as well. The only unknown's for me at this point are from SFC7. I could be wrong with my SFC9's, but I doubt that.

Actually.....between Robert and Starr only one of them is coming back. Why? The 5th Pre-Merge boot is yet to be revealed. The only Pre-Merge boots left is Riddle and Summer. SWSU already said Russell isn't coming back.
And chances are the 5th Pre-Merge player is Summer. If that's the case then most likely Robert's also in. As for SFC7, it's either Phil or Quadratic

Jackie: A lot like Frank I never felt the love with him. I understood what he brought to SFC8 but he never grew on me. I hope that I'll be able to like him this season and hopefully he'll shine.
Kris: Totally wasn't expecting her to come back at all. I did like her in SFC2 though so I'm kind of excited for her. Unfortunately I think she'll be cut early, but none the less I hope she can bring it.
Minerva: Obv favourite, already. I hope she wins even though she's canon. I would love nothing more for her to own this season. I can't wait to see her back and play again.
Miranda: and I thought Kris was the wtf choice, looks like I was wrong. I totally don't even understand why she's here. I admit she had her occasional moments but overall I found her really boring. Although the fact that she indirectly fucked over Greg was always hilarious to me. She looks...different? Even if she is a sprite something is telling me that she's changed drastically...I don't know we'll see

Another one of my all time faves. <3 I like that all the SFC8 stars are given another shot to redeem themselves on a (hopefully) good season. It's obvious that he'll bring it, and I can't imagine any scenario where he'd disappoint. I actually even think he's a strong contender to win. Plz be our first OTTN winner.
KRIS
Not sure if everyone knows, and this might seem really random, but she's actually one of my most favorite SFC players ever. Even though idc about gameplay at all, she's like Kathy, in the sense where their strategy makes their character and is what makes them entertaining. She always looked out for #1 and never took her eyes of the prize, and I like CP people like that. I hope she still brings that this season and I'm super excited to see her without her brother.
MINERVA
Oh god. The epicness..... I can feel it.
Minerva is obviously one of the most infamous characters of the season, if not THE most infamous. I knew Minerva was going to be back on, but now it's sinking in, and I can't wait to start reading this season knowing she's in. And I know she's not going anywhere anytime soon after her early SFCAS boot. I have no doubt you'll do her justice this time. Anyone who doesn't like Minerva isn't a real SFC fan. :jeffprobst:

Talk about a random choice. Even though there are some obscure pre-merge choices, I think they're all more justifiable than Miranda returning. I thought she was totally boring and pretty lame on her season and I LOVE SFC5, okay? So I gotta say, I'm sad to see her here over some others. HOWEVER, you obviously have something planned that her character can pull off, either-wise there's no way you would have never brought her back.

Jackie: I was SO disappointed when he left so early in SFC8. I'm glad he's back and hopefully he'll f' some stuff up. And I agree with Cherm, Frank and Jackie would probably make an alliance real quick.
Kris: I'm sort of surprised, yet at the same time I'm not. Although there are a few characters I would've liked to see from SFC2, I think she can show some serious growth from her last season because Chris isn't here.
Minerva: Agreed Probst, she didn't have a fair shake at All-Stars AT ALL. With a three-season hiatus and having no one with a personal vendetta on her, I think she'll do pretty well this season.
Miranda: Whoa- unexpected. Although she was shown as a strat-bot in her season, I'm actually kind of excited about what she'll do this time. Can't believe I'm saying this, but go Miranda!

Jackie - Yes! Jackie was and still is one of my favorite characters! The rivalry between him and Oehda might be reborn in this season!
Kris - She was OK in SFC2 and I liked her, but she didn't really leave a mark on me. I hope she proves me wrong about her in that she can't make big strategic moves on her own and flip to whoever has the majority like last time.
Minerva - Minerva is a great character in the SFC series! She's like the third top villain on my villain list (Bonnie in first, Baxter in second). I hope Minerva and Bonnie form a bitch alliance if they are on the same tribe.
Miranda - I liked her in SFC5, though Marius had my full attention in that season. I think she can really go far again, given the right people to work with like last time.
Cherman

Jackie: Well his strength should keep him around and he could get along with Frank, but he could have major problems with "Oehda" and/or Emilee.
Kris: I am a bit surprised that shes on but hay, now we get to see if she can play the game the game without her brother.
Minerva: Again I'm still suprised that she's the one getting the third chance, first time she went deep, second out immediately. She should do good but I don't see her doing as well as her first time.
Miranda: Another surprise, last time she played one of the best games out there. If people remember how she played and the fact she can't sleep. She be in hot water.
