Derrick Hedgehog: Welp, with someone sharing the same name as him and being on the same tribe, will definitely be... something. Anyways, he does look like a cool dude, but I'm wondering will his age being older than the rest of his tribemates will help or harm him.
Jahira: Has potential for a great character. I wonder though what Jeff means by "biggest issue emotionally", as it could mean anything. It'll be interesting to see her dynamics with her tribemates.
Jeannie: LMAO at this name. She does seem legit to grant one's wishes to appear, but she might mess it up. Don't know how she'll fare gamewise, but I have hopes for her.
Jenny: Two things about her interest me. 1, how she's the daughter of Dr. Wily, a villain, and 2, she's on the Beasts tribe but more of a Brain than Brawn. She'll also be interesting to look out for. Also, is she flipping off the... camera?

Jenny being Dr. Wily's daughter was an interesting choice. I'm wondering how that'll play into her character, since it likely means she's a big deal.
Jeannie seems like she'll be OP, so I am kinda worried that she'll godplay. On the other hand, the whole magical thing makes her a wild card. How will she use her powers, and how will it affect the game?
Jahira sounds like she's going to be a mess. A fun mess. She'll definitely leave her mark, and I'm looking forward to seeing how exactly.
I'll admit I was kinda worried about a Sonic character since there are a ton of bad Sonic OCs, but Derrick H. looks like he'll be a cool dude. He seems very real, with him being a older father figure instead of a fast boi

Derrick H.: Either his family's gonna be an important part of his character and he'll go far or he's gonna be gone before we can go into too much depth with that. Could go either way.

Jahira: The loud and sassy one, joy to the world. I can imagine, much like Derrick above, she's gonna be very "all or nothing."

Jeannie: A genie named Jeannie, original. In all seriousness, she could be interesting. I don't doubt that that ring is probably going to show up in some way, shape or form, it's just a matter of when and how.

Jenny: She sure exists, alright. That whole "being Wily's kid" thing is probably gonna be a pretty focal part of her character, I can see her going pretty far based on that alone.

Derrick - For a second I thought this was Devious from pgcool's fic. A hedgehog parental figure, he could be fun.

Jahira - This is gonna be a wild ride if her node is anything to be considered. I'm hoping for either and Iyzebel esque run or a glorious early crash and burn.

Jeannie - Easily my fave based on design alone. She looks like a fun character and I hope is in it for the long haul.

Jenny - Another case of something that stands out from the rest of the tribe. I'm interested because of that but also the fact that she's the granddaughter of one of the most well known video game villains. Would love to see if that comes into play with how people treat her or even her personality.

DERRICK H: That there polo shirt wearing ass is my best friend in the world <3 sleigh me. Probably, as people have said, not gonna do too well since SFC16 was VERY parent-dominated, but even if he doesn’t last too long I’m sure I’ll enjoy him anyways.
JAHIRA: Oh My God A Queen. Shaega is right, on any other tribe she’d be toast, but on Koko she has the chance to actually do some Pretty Serious Damage. Really excited for her since she seems both entertaining and not totally strategically inept.
JEANNIE: If she breaks the game, it’d better be in favor of players I actually like because that makes it OK :3c Otherwise she seems c00t so I’m optimistic for her, but I bet anything she’s one of those players where her powers are bigger than her personality.
JENNY: Honestly not a fan. I feel like she’s been done before and that she’s going to have a predicable hero’s story and edit. PLEASE prove me wrong, her design is Gucci and I do want to like her, but as of now, solid meh.

Not Slash: Well, considering that we've already had parent characters go far last time, I don't think he'll do as well as the Staggs did.

Jahira: Looks like she'll be having a bit of an attitude, so she's probably OTTN. Just because she's an eccentric doesn't mean that all of them are happy go lucky.

Jeannie: I like her. Maybe she'll make early jury.

Jenny: A brainiac in the beasts tribe. She'd better hope that her teammates value her intelligence. Then again, it could make her a threat against the muscleheads.

wow, this time i like them all. At least now, before season starts.

so, you deserved to get my top 6 winners list. And here it is

6. Taro. How can anyone don' like him? Just a simple sushi master, and at the same time one of smartest players you had. He won't be remembered for his big moves, but he never needed them (apart from poisoning everyone). And his friendship with Ky was so adorable.

5. Melanie. I'm not even sure why i like her. She wasn't written that good, and won in the shadow of Hanz - Matt rivarly. But somehow she was my favorite from day one and even if some players in her season turned up to be better... well, they didn't win.

4. Marius. One can say he was similar to Barney. Smart and strong, just much more negative. But there was much more. While Barney was blandand earned place as 4th worst, Marius had complex personality, and his vengence, whitch he menaged to turn into his asset, was very well done. And he did it without cheating, or getting random plot powers (i'm talking to you Cherman and Ker)

3. Elize. She is proof that you were able to make great characters, and great winners from the beginning. Now she may not look so interesting as many platers following her, i probably remember her as much better than she was (that's why i hope for all-winners season), but does it make her bad? No. And she still owns the best SWFC moment, and Best Strategy Award. Even after 15 more seasons. Impresive. And of course i talk about het double-idol play against Vinnie and Good People. Maybe it's time for you to top that?

2. Angel. Angel never looked that likable when i read it day after day. There were always bigger personalities who owned whole season, like Eli or Juiced Up. But after reading it again, and focusing on her - she turns up so much better. I loved her snarky, sarcastical coments, and that she just told others what she thinks. While other were focusing on game and winning, to the point that they were going to suck Juiced and Klaus - she stayed herself.

1. Liz. Because - who else? If they were one player that turned real, and i could meet them, it would be Liz (even if she is NOT my number one player of all times). What's not to love her? She had many flaws, like regular human, no special powers, not even kindest, smartest or strongest of them all. But it all made her perfect. Most people probably won't understand my love for her, but it's ok. They don't have to. They can have their own favourite winners. But she is mine and i don't think you can ever top that. But if you do, i'll send you flowers.

Oh look, Slash has a second opportunity!...I mean, Derrick sure looks familiar. But with Derek in the game and in the same tribe, this could be bad. Here's hoping the rest of the tribe know how to spell.

For now, Jahira seems to be this season's mean girl...This could be interesting.

Jeannie seems like she is going to be fun, but looks like her tribe is going to be quite specific when whishing for something...

And finally, Jenny could be the odd out of her tribe, so I want to see how she is going to act.

Derrick H: With both him and Derek L on the same tribe, I expect some conflict but I think he'll manage. 

Jahira: Hmm.... I'm getting bad vibes from her. Probably not going to like her.

Jennie: With her powers people need to be VERY specific when wishing otherwise she'll have some fun at their expense. I.e. "I wish for a stake dinner" she'll poof it up but it doesn't have a plate underneath it.

Jenny: Oddball right off the bat. Hopefully she'll do well.

Hey, Shaega, buddy, long time no see! 

Derrick H: For his concept, it's pretty original especially where I've never seen a Hedgehog be a father in the series franchise. He'll definitely be underestimated because of his age and he might go far if he can adapt to the younger players. 

Jahira: Well, here's our trainwreck for the season. All 'trainwreck girl' issues aside, she will be an interesting player to look out for, especially where she can plays with her heart instead of her head. It'll be challenging for her, but I have yet to see what kind of game she will play. 

Jeannie: I'm seriously hoping she doesn't pull a Taro or Enter and cheats her way into the end, that would be completely frustrating. Especially for a genie like her. 

Jenny: I have nothing to say other than having potential of getting herself farther if she can play her social game correctly. Otherwise, she'll be an early boot. 

And as for the twist, the Mystery Gift seems interesting ...

After coming close to having a near-death... er, near-hospital-visit experience, it’s time to cool down with another cast release. Nice to have you back, Shae Gae. Looks like he’s finally got his emotions back

Derrick H.: Gee, I wonder who sent this one in. He looks like a good father, but I don’t think he can win. Knowing what SWSU thinks about these characters’ edits in recent years, one should expect that. But I’m not going to let that be my only reason for why I think he can’t win. It’s also because... um... you know what, let’s just move on. I can’t think of anything.

Jahira: Oh, that series is not a good sign. That whole “don’t get on my bad side” thing in her introductory confessional, plus her wide-eyed smile in her promo photo? Yeah, it looks like we’ve got a yandere this season. Be very afraid.

Jeannie: Jeannie the genie, hahaha, that’s hysterical. The biggest thing that intrigues me about Jeannie is why she has legs in her sprites when surrounded by everyone else, yet floats around in her introductory confessional. Says she’s willing to show off her powers, so what’s the point of giving her legs? Does she have a human complex?

Jenny: I’m guessing this is the character with that broccoli ahoge haircut no one could pinpoint in the Preview comic. Being an inventor on the Beasts tribe, she obviously has strength and intelligence, but again, it all comes down to her social game. As Probst implied, inventors don’t really talk to a lot of people. I should know, the last inventor I talked to gave me a pie with her hair in it.

Now, as some of you may have guessed from my comment on the Preview comic, I do indeed have a character competing in this season. However, to keep things interesting, I have no plans to reveal whom it is right away. I probably won’t say who it is until they get eliminated.
