Been playing the hell out of the System Shock remake, and it's reminding me of a silly little 'fan game' idea I once had.

Basic Premise: In an alternate ending to System Shock 2, a victorious Soldier G65434-2 (aka: 'Goggles'/'Shades') finds something he did NOT expect after defeating SHODAN.

Scans of this humanoid show aspects of 'artificially natural' biomechanical hybridization. A true blend of the synthetic and organic. The child is, putting it in simple blunt terms, seemingly half-man/half-machine. There seems to be no sign of Shodan in it's systems. Uncertain of what fate could hold for this creature should his superiors get ahold of it, the Soldier keeps the young 'boy' a secret from the military.

Child is nicknamed 'Axel', and the game would have probably been more of a sci-fi horror 'point-n-click'/adventure game more than anything remotely resembling an FPS

It would've dealt with him trying to figure out his purpose, and origin, yet he's scared to find out as well. Because there's concerns (on his part) that he might just be another weapon or 'sleeper agent' created by his psychotic A.I. 'mother'. But then what he finds there is no purpose, just some whim on SHODAN's part?

And does the source of his creation make him 'evil' by default? OR destined to follow in mommy's digital footsteps?

This AI-crafted picture/approximation of the idea was just a lucky 'draw' crap shoot (as is all AI Art), and it just so happened to bring in the kind of aspects I was looking for. More or less. His genetic 'father' is meant to be ambiguous, so it could be either the Hacker or 'Goggles'. Probably leaning more towards 'Goggles', as SHODAN just REALLY seemed to hate the Hacker with a burning passion.

Hope it looks good and sounds at least interesting.
