The crossover that never happened... from another 'Godzilla Alternate Worlds' story idea of mine. Or at least one possible ending to it.

"A World Without Godzilla" deals with the 'What-If?' of the Seahawk having NEVER run into the iceberg that contained Godzilla in "King Kong vs Godzilla"... and how events changed from then.

A World Without Godzilla:
-King Kong is found on Farou Island, and brought to Tokyo by TTV to help boost ratings. Unsurprisingly, the mighty Ape escapes, and runs rampant through the streets of Tokyo, eventually escaping and swimming back to his home. TTV is sunk over civil suits filed for the damages and loss of life.

-The two Mothra larvae hatch from their egg two years later, and cause untold destruction as they make their way homeward to join their dying mother. Happy Enterprises is also sunk, with Torahata committing suicide as a result of the legal problems that follow.

THEN...
Then Ghidorah appears soon after, and begins a campaign of terror across the land. Mothra manages to convince a newly awoken Rodan to try and help stop this monstrous threat, but even their combined might proves futile, and the two are soon slain as a result.

The desperate governments of the world are left with little options, until pilot Shoichi Tsukioka... one of the men present at the icy burial of Godzilla... steps forward with a crazy plan. He volunteers to try and scour the Arctic regions for Godzilla, and to try and awaken the creature. While they are doing that, the mighty ape King Kong is brought to try and keep Ghidorah busy.

Tsukioka is aided by the possessed Princess Selina Salno as they feverishly try and find the destructive Godzilla, while King Kong battles the Three-headed Menace... barely holding the alien monstrosity back.

Will they find Godzilla? Will he be enough to turn the tide?

While the actual story itself would probably end differently, couldn't help but try and put this together.
