Another sprite for the world of , this time it's the unfortunate saga of Dark Star.

It's hard to imagine, but at one point Dark Star was... or at least appeared to be... the All-American Heroine. Having gained powers after an experience involving alien nanites, Andrea Steele became 'Freedom Star', a patriotic-themed superheroine who put her amazing abilities towards the cause of justice. But unbeknownst to everyone, Ms. Steele's mind was secretly at war with itself. What nobody knew, and what she fought to hide/repress, (with intense mental conditioning) was a wild streak from her mid-teens that was in complete contrast to the person she tried to present herself as.

Unfortunately for her, the workload began to take it's toll, predominantly in the form of Ultrawoman. There was also the fact that the men who were responsible for keeping her true nature, her true personality in check, were also taking advantage of her. While during her moments of deep hypnosis, these specialists were using her as their own little personal sex toy.

Things came crashing down for her when she battled the powerful telepathic villain, the Psychic-Witch, who unleashed her most powerful mental attacks upon Freedom Star. She had hoped to kill Andrea, but all it accomplished was shattering the mental blocks placed upon her mind. The telepath didn't live long enough to regret it, as the newly whole Andrea Steele came to the forefront. Upon killing this adversary, and now fully aware of everything that had been done to her, Freedom Star became Dark Star.

She now works against the very society she once fought to save.

Made this using Psylocke and Magneto sprites as well as someone's custom/mugen Starfire sprite. Also used someone's White Queen for hair reference. Can't remember where the face came from.
