This fractal was created for the Myth Chronicle at NeosynthesisRhea Silvia was a Vestal Virgin until she was deflowered by the god Mars to whom she bore twins, Romulus and Remus.

Downright fantastic. I love the colors and the soft blend of the different parts of the image. It has a very ethereal feeling as befits its title and back story. Nice way to start off the new year!

Oh yeah, I got the scales done on the dragons tail now... and the glass eyes I ordered have been set in place too. I'll have to take pics soon so you can see the progress!

I think her name was Rhea Silvia. She was also the descendant of Aeneas through his son Ascanius Iulus, I believe; therefore making Rome's illustrious mythical link with ancient Troy, etc. Sorry for sticking my nose in, but five years of Latin in high school has had its toll on me, and whenever anyone mentions the slightest thing, I drone on and bore them half to death. It is a lovely fractal; I can never get the hang of any program other than Apophysis.
