Haha me too actually, Zoro, in particular, I'm sure was far from being a normal kid. But I like to believe the circumstances in which they spent their early childhoods sorta were~ (and that's why we never heard about them in canon; not enough tears and angst)

Roronoa Toro for Zoro's dad (because they're original like that in the family <_< and it can be punny too, sorta). Zoro's mom is still nameless *pouts*
Sanji's dad is Marin, 'cause I wanted something sea-related for him. I'd like to add that it should be pronunced in french, but that's probably pointless...

Toro... I laughed pretty hard at that one, but it fits. It really does. Especially if he's as headstrong as his son is. Marin is good too. Luckily the Japanese pronunciation would be close enough to the french one.

But Zoro's mom being nameless is quite the dilemma... what sort of nationality do you see her being?

Actually, it doesn't really sound like japanese. *is nitpicky because french is her mother tongue* Google gives a good exemple.

I'm not sure for Zoro's mom. I know I don't want a typically english name. She could be from another european country. Or even japanese (in a manner of speaking, since she's really from East Blue X3). Something feminine that's not too girly and young...

That's how I felt about her name too. I dunno. Moira? Ingrid? Elsa? Those are some of the first names that come to mind actually.

Those were good suggestions, and thanx for trying, it did help in my search, but I think I found something that please me: Kaida, which is japanese but not obviously so, and has some hard sounds I didn't know I wanted but are good for her~

I would love to see Nami, Robin and Luffy would you think about it? ... This one are just great, Sanji mom is such a beauty, but we can easy see that he's just like his father. And for Zoro he has the same haircut as daddy sweet, his mom looks like a stern one.
