yah, so I did another image of my lady - this time a bit different with the swirls directly out of her hair - which I wanted to do ever since after I'd finished the first onehope it's getting as much attention as the first one

the problem is that I can't buy subscriptions or print accounts - I don't have credit cards and I tried the paypal thing but they told me you can't upload money from an Austrian bank account...
but yes, I've already thought about doing more pieces like the ladies - as I said they are easy to do and working on them is rather relaxing...

Since you opted for advanced critique, I am going to point out that there is a perspective issue with her face. I know that there is absolutely nothing that can be don about it now, being inked and all, but for future reference, try this:
To quickly notice if something is off, reverse the image by looking at it in a mirror. It doesn't help you to come up with a solution, but it notifies you of the problem. I try to do this all the time; I had learned to when I was young, and it really does help.
Otherwise, this was an instantaneous +fav. The pose is absolutely gorgeous, and I am in agreeance with you on her hair - I like it very much. It adds an absolute sense of motion that captures the eye.

Heh, just hold the picture up to a mirror and look at it. Mirrors flip the image horizontally, allowing you to see it from a new perspective, and you notice things that you wouldn't have before. It's almost like you are looking at your piece for the first time.

hab ich schon versucht, teilweise zumindest, aber sie ging mir dann zu sehr unter, ehrlichgesagt...
hm... ich weiß, aber ich muss sagen dass ich das ausmalen von mandalas überhaupt nicht leiden kann *gg* hat aber wohl nix mit psychedelischem zu tun, denk ich, sondern einfach mit den formen und kreisen und dass es zwar eine monotone aber nicht langweilige arbeit ist...

so wie Haare malen ^^ endlose monotone Striche ... aber darum gings doch bei Mandalas ... einfach immer chaotisch malen, bis ein Muster entsteht
hmm .. wenn sie untergeht würde ich versuchen die Wirkung der Spiralen zu verringern ... sie vielleicht weniger deckend zu machen.
