my robot girl character, Cactus
She is in love with overpowered weaponryThe linework is at least a few months old now, which is unusual for me since I normally colour what I'm going to, immediately, and ditch everything else, but I've had so little time lately. I doodled this and actually inked it with pen (normally I use a brush) since I was at a friends house. (while watching Being John Malkovich on television, actually)
Character wise, I didn't have my existing pictures for reference so her design changed a bit again, some parts for the better, and some stuff not.
Art wise, her head's too big (but then I always draw large heads and kind of like it so it's a fine line between 'error' and 'style') and the feet seem a little small. Still, I was fond of the picture and I liked how it came up.
Media used : pencil and pen on paper, scanned and coloured in Photoshop, background made in 3DSMAX 6

Oooh cool colors! I unno if this has been mentioned before, but the feet seem a tad bit too small. Also, more of a reflection on the visor thing would be nice, because right now it looks like there's just two blue lines going across her face. Other than that, wonderful job, I always love your characters

I had a totally different image in mind when I read the title of this (imagine that weird cactus with the boxing gloves passed out on some industrial floor...)
But I was most pleasantly surprised by what you've got here! The feet are alittle small as you had said, but I really like her body shape, especially the lower leg pieces.

This is great, the colouring and linework is so detail and clean, brilliant work. The body reminds me a lot of the BGC2040 hardsuits, though I suppose if I'd watched more anime it'd remind me of other series aswell.

It's probably the arms, particularly the shoulders, with that exaggerated shape and curve

The gun she carries seems out of perspective, as it seems to be touching the floor, or rather, trying to go trough it. Her right arm seems a lot shorter than the left, I would suggest if you could at least study the figure a lot more instead of trying to impress everyone with a fancy costume.
Another flaw on the gun: It seems to be broken in two parts, it is not well-aligned.
Also, the floor seems to be falling out, as it is poised diagonally, and it does not give any kind of proportion and composition.

this is a C I haven't seen before, so I don't have any previous reference, still I can see how her feet can be considered too small.
I didn't know that you generally use a brush to ink with, but that explains a heavy line style, and this Is quite a bit thinner to me.
I like the color job, and the design; it seems a wonderfully done piece to me, and I think I'm going to send a friend to see this one, as it demonstrates some of the finer points of robotic humanoid design that I was telling him.
Anyway, Great picture.

The linework actually isn't much thinner than my usual stuff (although has a more uniform thickness) although it might appear that way because I coloured the lines (and a coloured line appears thinner than a black line because the eye perceives it as bleed)

Nice. Top notch colouring as usual. The head is fine; stylistically it fits, so unless you were going for wholly correct anatomy, you've got nothing to worry about
I like the design of the gun and the armour (or, well, her body I guess, being a robot and all). The only wierd thing about it is her tiny little feet. But that may be how you wanted em, so eh.
Also, I like her expression. It's goofy but in a good way.

Haha yeah, really I'm not so worried about the head, but those feet really are too small. I think it's because they slope towards points - if they were that length but stubby like actual feet, they might have looked ok, or if they were just longer, but, oh well
