You had been best friends with Nico for as long as you can remember. He would always hang out with you at your house when he wasn’t busy with stuff at Camp Half-Blood. This was one of those times. Nico was especially bored at camp so he decided to pay you a visit.

Nico walked up to your front door and let himself in. Your parents knew that Nico was a frequent visitor and absolutely adored him.

“Hello?” Nico said.

He decided to look for your (mom/dad) in the kitchen. Sure enough, they were in there. They were doing the dishes.

“Hello (Mrs. /Mr.) (Last Name).” Nico said, getting their attention.

“Oh, Hello Nico! (y/n)’s in (her/his) room.”

“Okay, thanks.”

Nico made his way towards your room, only to stop when he heard muffled laughter coming from behind your door. He stepped lightly and pressed his ear up to your door, straining to hear. He heard your laugh again and then two other voices, they sounded British. Nico hesitantly knocked on your door. He heard you jump off your bed and run to the door.

“Nico!” you shouted as soon as you opened the door.

You jumped onto him, giving him a tight hug.

“I missed you!” you said, still hugging him.

“(y/n), you saw me a few days ago.” Nico told you, rolling his eyes at your childish behavior.

“I know!” you said smiling brightly. “Oh, hey! Come on, I want to show you something!”

You dragged Nico into your room and grabbed your laptop. You patted the space next to you, telling Nico to sit next to you.

“Wait! Before you watch, we have to perform a secret ritual!” you said, reaching into your pocket and pulling out a black dry-erase marker.

“Okay, hold still.” You un-capped the marker and started to draw on Nico’s face.

Nico knew better than to argue with you, you would end up getting your way no matter what.

“Done!” you finally yelled.

You pulled out a mirror and gave it to Nico. He looked at himself in the mirror to see he now had cat whiskers drawn onto his face. He looked at you skeptically.

“Really?” he asked.

“Shush! It’s necessary!” you told him before hitting play on the video that was on your screen.

You two both watched Dan and Phil for the rest of the afternoon and ended up falling asleep with your laptop blasting Dan screaming at Phil to stop tempting Slenderman with his Slendy song.
