View the models in 3D hereA sword set I created for my Pandaren Monk. He's called Pol.
I am working on a slightly larger personal project of his home for fun and these will be a part of that too. I created these while trying to emulate a certain style of Pandaren themes within WoW and I had a lot of fun incorporating the tiger like shapes and themes into the swords. I picked tiger because of the tiger temple, one of the larger temples with the celestial Xuen who is in the form of a tiger, and the link many monks have to it - especially those that are wind walkers. They are inspired by Qon's Flaming Scimitar which is the go to weapon I use in the transmog but for Pol they would be more of a Pandaren + Celestial/Temple style rather than mogu so I thought I'd model them how they would be. ---------
These swords are hand painted and lower poly to keep in the art style of World of Warcraft.
Software used:
Maya for 3D modelling.
Clip Studio for the painting textures as well as using gradient maps I created within Clip Studio for the alternate textures.
