Description
View the models in 3D hereA sword set I created for my Pandaren Monk. I am working on a slightly larger personal project of his home for fun and these will be a part of that too. I created these while trying to emulate a certain style of Pandaren themes within WoW and I had a lot of fun incorporating the tiger like shapes and themes into the swords. I picked tiger because of the tiger temple, one of the larger temples with the celestial Xuen who is in the form of a tiger, and the link many monks have to it - especially those that are wind walkers. They are inspired by Qon's Flaming Scimitar which is the go to weapon I use in the transmog but for Pol they would be more of a Pandaren + Celestial/Temple style rather than mogu so I thought I'd model them how they would be.
These are the main colours for the swords. There are variations to match different sets. The names listed as the swords are from top to bottom.
Gold & steel.
Copper & Iron.
Kun-Lai / White Tiger.
---------
These swords are hand painted and lower poly to keep in the art style of World of Warcraft.
Software used:
Maya for 3D modelling.
Clip Studio for the painting textures as well as using gradient maps I created within Clip Studio for the alternate textures.
