I admit that I don't have much experience with digital art, but I personally like the way this one looks because it gives it a faded yet blurry feel to it, similar to what you'd find in watercolors or pastels. Plus, the facial expression of the girl has plenty of personality to it, while the monster has an Art Deco-esque simplicity to it that makes it look pretty unique.

The girl looks great though! If you didn't want to render out that whole monster I would have just cropped it a bit below her legs. The composition would still work.
