It takes a lot for any picture to actually make me stop in my tracks and want to really LOOK at it. Most of the time I'll go, look, and move on. I'm really picky about the pics I fav. Moreso when a pic makes me stop and look. Really *LOOK* at it.
So, here I've been sitting for about 5 minutes, looking it over, trying to figure out just why I like it so much.
Is it the gentle pose?
The balance of the soft light of the skin in contrast with the dark background?
Is it the simplicity of the picture itself?
I don't know. It's very simple and gentle. He looks so... inviting.
The only thing I can compare the feeling to is on a quiet day when the air is still, then suddenly there's a gentle, soft, little breeze that blows across your skin that just happens to be the perfect temperature. You just close your eyes and savor the soft feeling of the fleeting moment and, from head to toe, you just feel really good to the very core.
That's what it feels like when I look at this picture.
I may not really have any experience with photography or live shot pics, but I know what I like, and I like this one. ~*favs*~
