With a solid base for the species in place, we are excited to bring you Rotran-Roost ’s first event! There is no special theme for this event outside of creating your own Rotran character! Continue reading for more information~

What are Rotrans?

Rotrans are a highly adaptive, sentient alien race, constantly micro-evolving through generations to thrive in the environments they live in. Mutation rates are high in their species, and new traits are constantly being discovered. They are native to the planet Sondara and have a partnership with the species of Earth, where many choose to live.

What does FTO and MYO stand for?

FTO - First time owner

MYO - Make your own

General Rules and Information

• Your account must be at least 5 months old or semi-active (have an icon, posts in gallery/journal).

• Only first time owners may participate (if you already own a Rotran, you are excluded from this event).

• You can only gain 1 MYO slot from this event.

• You must agree to the Terms and Conditions.

• You cannot trade, sell, or gift your MYO slot/design until after the event is over.

• The common ★ subspecies (arids and temperates), are free to make in this event.

• If you would like to unlock uncommon/rare traits, see the How to Enter section below.

• All the subspecies anatomy, coloring, and mutations guides can be found here or in the #🧪subspecies-mutations-and-auas and #visual -guides channels in the Discord server.

• If you would like to familiarize yourself more with the species, check out this journal or the 🔅Sarinko services category in the Discord Server.

How to Enter
• Join the DeviantArt group: Rotran-Roost
or Discord server: discord.gg/U8j6Tqu

• Make a journal or status advertising this event with a link back to this post

• Comment on this post with your journal/status link proving that you’ve done the above step

• Put “I have read and accepted the terms and conditions” in your comment to show you have agreed to the TAC

• To unlock more stars, you can tag up to three people in your comment. Each tag is worth one star. You can use all three of these stars for any of the following:

- Three common mutations, one common and one uncommon mutation, or one rare mutation for the Arid or Temperate races.

- Unlock a Glacial or Tropical with one common mutation, or an Aquatic with no mutations.

- Trade in all three stars for one ✦ common/affordable AUA (artificial upgrade or alteration)

• Wait for SyIthian to reply to your comment to confirm approval.

Resources and Submitting Your Entry
• You can draw your Rotran from scratch, or use one of the bases here or they can be found in the #myo -bases channel in the Discord Server with ready to color .sai and .psd files.

• Your entry must be fully flat colored and include no shading or color overlays.

• Submit your entry to the MYO Entry Approval folder in the DA group or the #event -entries channel in the Discord server.

• You must fill out this form in the description of your submission:

Proof of MYO ticket: (link or screenshot your comment with SyIthian’s reply)
DeviantArt and/or Discord username:

Transparent file: (only needed if your entry is uploaded with a bg. Transparent files are only needed for the full body image and must not contain any clothing. The transparent image is used for the masterlist over at Rotran-Database )

• Your entry must be submitted to the correct folder/channel before the deadline! Otherwise it will not be counted, and your MYO ticket will be revoked!

Event ends on June 3rd 2020 at 12:00am (24:00) CST
Any and all entries submitted after the deadline will not be accepted unless an extension is discussed with SyIthian .
