I am most curious about the "Cleanup" part. I can't make my art look clean in Photoshop. Every single slight jiggle or shake in my hand is picked up and becomes disgustingly apparent.

I don't really cover that part. However I can tell you that I use the new smoothing option, it helps a lot.
This said, before this option was available, my trick was to draw the lines in fast sweeping movements, to avoid those wobbly lines. I would use the undo button a lot, until the line is right. This also trains you to draw your lines faster and it will speed up your inking, over time.
