Description
So I have started watching Parasyte (And by "started" I mean watched all the episodes in One Day) and I LOVE THIS SHOW!! The music, the characters, the plot, by golly the animation is amazing too!!Shinichi, the main character goes through drastic changes in his looks and demeanor and grows A LOT as a character. And I just so happened to think of another character that changes drastically due to events out of his control- Ken Kaneki from Tokyo Ghoul.
Now, the Parasyte Manga is much older than Tokyo Ghoul but the animes both came out this past year and they are both great. (But I think I like Parasyte more, Sorry Brandi) The main characters basically have the plot thrust upon them and if they want to survive, they have to adapt and learn to use the powers they didn't even want; all the while loosing everything they hold dear.
So which would you rather have happen? Become a Ghoul or get a Parasyte in your hand?
(Tried a different art style with this one that TOOK FOREVER. No lines and whatnot, man my hand hurts -_- )

Have you ever heard of NateWantsToBattle's "Monster Inside", which is based on Parasyte? It's super catchy.

I'd rather have a symbiotic relationship with an alien in my hand than become a cannibal. Anyways, the dude's hand turns into a knife, that is just way too cool. I only watched the first episode of Parasite with some friends and looked away during the gory parts, so my knowledge of the show is limited.

I'd probably go for the Parasyte, just because I'd be able to eat and stuff. It wouldn't be as horribly life changing, and I wouldn't be constantly hunted just for existing

Also, this art style is REALLY good, but I guess if you want you can keep on going with the one you adapted

And I will be sticking with my simple sketchy style. This one takes to long to make it look good and I have very little patience.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh so cool! Hehe it's fine about liking Parasyte more. Also for the question, I prefer to become a ghoul then to have something living in my hand, sorry but parasites in general freak me out and that is the main reason why I wouldn't watch or read Parasyte.

Well the Parasyte Manga is from 1988. But I will take the Parasite so that way I can still eat people food. I love chocolate too much to constantly throw it up.
