I redrew an old picture from two years ago. I thought it would be fitting to give one of the more influential pieces in my life to be redone when I have gained more skill.I'm glad to have come so far. I hope you enjoy the new version. Unfortunately it is on 9x12 paper instead of 7x10, which is what I am used to and a good size for what my scanner can handle. I get a little blur but its okay. Hopefully you enjoy it.

This looks really nice. I can see a lot of it is improved from the original, which is reallyΒ great to see. I always love improvement (being pretty poor at it myself).

While the original is good, you were able to better capture the emotion with this piece! You've really come a long way since then with your style! It fits well with this piece and is so unique. The linework is great and the subtle transitions in warm values contrasted with the vivid blue of her eyes really draw you into it!
