Description
A few years back, me, two friends and my brother sat down and drew some creatures and objects we got from SlimeBeast's Random Monster Generator. I enjoyed these weird creations so much, I decided to re-draw these, as well as every other thing on the list I printed, and give them all fun backstories. These drawings are from after our session, and were originally done up about a year and a half ago.---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Prompt: The Cycloptic Picker
"They're harmless so long as you don't bother them."
The Gratz are a small alien race of unknown origin. Most commonly found near the Gardens of Aurelia, these beings have a real knack for gardening. While their unique physiology may suggest otherwise, the attention and a care a Gratz worker can show far outshines even the greatest human gardeners. You just have to watch them work to understand. The focus they display is, quite frankly, almost unnerving. You can jostle them, move them, jump around and shout and they will never once break focus on what they are doing. The only thing that gets them upset is if threaten their lives, or you mess with their plants. Believe me, they may not seem all that threatening, but get one riled up, they all get riled up and those pincers of theirs are extremely sharp. Of course, there's no reason to get 'em mad, so most of the time you'll just see them working away at their plants. They also ADORE berries. They tend to cultivate plants that grow berries, to which they often treat themselves to while they work. Yes, they also share.
Prompt: Vine Of Death
"This place is hell! Even the fucking plants are trying to eat us!"
Deep in the Amazon lie many undiscovered species. One such species is the "Vine of Death", a massive man-eating plant discovered by the TriZen expeditionary team as they searched for the ancient treasure of Kalamathu. This huge, carnivorous plant was located only a few days after the encounters with the "Bat Dissolvers" and two days away from the Temple of Kalamathu. It was Dr. Nicholas Weber who first noted the plant, catching wind of an extremely alluring scent. Dr. Weber split from the group, following the scent which he described as "heavenly". This resulted in the rest of the group having to change course, and follow Dr. Weber. The others in the expedition noted the scent, but none seemed as affected as he. Before they could turn him back to the mission, Dr. Weber entered a clearing in the dense brush, within which lie an incredible plant. Standing much taller than a man, the plant was a sight to behold, especially due to its vibrant blue petals. Despite this, a number of the expedition felt a sense of unease, a feeling that grew as they noticed the multitude of twisting vines behind the plant. It was only when Dr. Weber drew closer was the truth revealed. The petals of the plant shot open, only to reveal a hideous tube in the vein of a pitcher plant. From the tube shot forth a vine which entangled Dr. Weber, and drew him into its maw, kicking and screaming. Before anyone in the team could react, the rest of the vines came to life, ensnaring anyone in reach. Chaos ensued as vines began constricting and thrashing various members of the team. It was only when another member of the tam was able to fire off a number of bullets into the plant itself that the event ended. The plant slumped over, lifeless, as Dr. Weber's half-dissolved body slid out from within. One mercy killing later, and four more members of the expedition were dead.
Prompt: The Shadow That Thinks Of Time
"Six o'clock already!?"
I imagine it was quite the shock when you saw your shadow was missing. Don't worry, they'll be back. You're not the only one with a busy life.
Prompt: The Cave-Dwelling Wanderer
"Good thing they're a lot more peaceful than they look."
Despite their threatening appearance, Bolgidons are peaceful herbivores. These lumbering beasts can reach lengths of up to 30 feet, and heights of up to 7 feet. While they once roamed the land in great number, recent events have reduced their population quite drastically. The fact that their meat is quite tasty, and that they commonly stroll through villages without a care in the world hasn't helped matters. Despite this, Bolgidons are a successful species in the wild. They are strong, heavy armor coats their back and stomach, incredible senses, and they have a long tail tipped with a sharp blade capable of cleaving most attackers in a single swing. Thus, most predators avoid them entirely, as the danger isn't worth it. This lack of predation has made the Bolgidon a very placid and complacent species, content with merely wandering and eating. Every morning, Bolgidons will leave their communal cave homes and simply wander through their territory, expanding beyond its borders ever so slightly every day, before returning to their caves by nightfall. This behavior is what brought them into contact with the various sapient species that inhabit the land, and thus brought about their gradual decline.

I do as well! Another one I didn't expect to really like (the original design was awful lol), but when I re-did it, I loved it.
