Description
A few years back, me, two friends and my brother sat down and drew some creatures and objects we got from SlimeBeast's Random Monster Generator. I enjoyed these weird creations so much, I decided to re-draw these, as well as every other thing on the list I printed, and give them all fun backstories. These drawings are from after our session, and were originally done up about a year and a half ago.

Prompt: The Insect Made Of Bones

"Necromancers sure have a strange habit of making impossible creatures, don't they?"

Bone Scarabs are an ancient breed of creature whose exact origins have been lost to time. While it is forgotten who made them, or how, Bone Scarabs can still be found to this day, forever guarding the ancient crypts and tombs they were placed before countless centuries ago. While at first appearing to be merely another pile of bones in a place full of them, the Bone Scarab will quickly re-animate and piece itself together in the presence of an intruder. Quick, tough, with the strength and size of a bear and being able to continually piece themselves together so long as their pieces remain intact, the Bone Scarab is a truly formidable foe. The only way to stop a Bone Scarab for good is to destroy the object they are bound to, which is usually a gem or orb filled with dark magic. Once this relic has been shattered, the Bone Scarabs linked to it will fall apart, and become inert. Of course, a better solution for powerful necromancers is to instead bind themselves to the relic as well, allowing them full control of any Scarabs linked to it.

Prompt: The Monster That's Always Behind You

"I just can't shake the feeling that I'm never alone."

There's a reason so many people feel like they're always being watched. While most attribute it to spirits, or even their own personal stalker, the truth is far more terrifying. The reality is that every single human on earth has a Follower. To clarify, a Follower is a shadowy horror from dimensions unknown that is always right behind. At all times. You may scoff at this, as no one else has seen it, or that you never see one in a mirror. Well, to start, no one can see your Follower and you can't see anyone else's. Also, Followers don't show up in mirrors. Look, it's a simple concept, with a lot of complex explanations and reasons. No matter what you do, or where you go, it is always behind you. Do you feel that chill running up your spine? Yeah, they love that. Feed on it. If you know about them, you're likely to fear them. And if you fear them you feed them, and feeding them makes them grow stronger. so you're probably wondering why I'm telling you this if it'll make things worse. Well, that's because knowing of them also gives you some level of power over them, if you can control your fear. Whenever you get that feeling of being watched, or you start to feel nervous for no apparent reason, just remember what your fear is feeding. That way, you can calm yourself and deny them their meal. Of course, if you fail to do this then they just get bigger and stronger, until eventually they start showing themselves to you. It'll just be quick glimpses out of the corner of your eye, before they start lingering for longer and longer. Eventually? Well, let's just say, a lot of people seem to go missing rather suddenly, don't they?

Prompt: Weird Wendy

"Honestly, she's normal compared to most of you."

Wendy is another friend of Nameless in the WTF Universe. While Wendy tries to stand out from the others by trying to act and look weird, she's rather normal compared to many of the others. Doesn't stop many of the other villagers from insisting she's unusual though.

Prompt: The Child That Devours Corners

"Xzt, please stop eating just the corners. There's so much more in the middle."

A strange alien child who eats the corners out of everything. And I do mean Everything.
