The next redesign is of Dr. Leopold from the infamously bad ZAAT, released in 1971! This guy was actually a late addition to the list, requested during one of my upload batches. At the time, I wasn't 100% sure how I wanted to approach his redesign, beyond adding more catfish elements, but after my redesign of the Riverbeast, I knew what I wanted to do. It's random sequel time again, with this one following Don't Let the Riverbeast Get You / TriZen lore if I keep both as part of that!

So unlike the Riverbeast or the Deep Ones, Leopold here was obviously once a man. So I wanted to make that clear in his design, distinguishing him from the previous two creatures. So when I approached this design, I wanted to clearly mix more human features in, starting with his face which is much more man-like and uncanny in its appearance. I also made sure to give him more human proportions, as well as much more humanoid legs. I then obviously mixed in elements from catfish and added in some of the green hair of the original design down the front of his torso to complete the design.

He reminds me of an uglier version of my Vodyanoy XD
