"That's a Direclaw! You can't be serious! They've impregnated Direclaws!?"

The Slasher is a brand new breed of Reaver Xenomorph, courtesy of the deadly Direclaw. Due to the threat that Direclaws pose, even to Xenomorphs, the Slasher are few in number, but they more than make up for that with sheer ferocity and unmatched deadly efficiency. The Slashers adopt the strategy of the creatures that birthed them; diverting attention, separating and then striking. Once they begin their assault however, they become relentlessly aggressive, ignoring any damage coming their way in order to claim their victim using their massive claws to slice through Yautja and human alike with ease.

To further their deadliness, they are also armed with quills and a lethal stinger. The quills can be fired off at prey and are filled with the Xeno's trademark acid, filling anyone stuck with them with the deadly liquid and ensuring a horrid death. The stinger meanwhile is capable of injecting either acid or a singular chestburster into prey, while also being incredibly effective at impaling.

The Slashers are first heard by the Elite Yautja in the jungles, before being battled by both the Honey Badgers and the Yautja within the Hive.
