'Oh, god damn that stinks!"

The Skunk Ape is a seven foot tall hominid found primarily in Florida. Like its relative, the Sasquatch, The Skunk Ape is a gentle beast, preferring to eat fruits and vegetables and to be left alone; though it can be a fearsome beast if threatened. Of the discovered hominids, the Skunk ape appears to among the most dim-witted, showing far less intelligence than either the Sasquatch, the Curupira or even the Yeti. As such, the only thing keeping them from becoming more commonly seen is their atrocious stench which is said to be multiple times more awful than the animal they were named after. Strong enough to cause nausea and vomiting, it is more than qualified to dissuade most from venturing any closer, especially when multiple Skunk Apes are gathered together.

The most notable encounter with a Skunk Ape was in 1986 when a group of hunters shot and killed a young Skunk Ape, enraging its mother and causing her to go berserk. Tragically, multiple people were killed, as was the mother whose body was carried off by her grieving mate.
