Description
These two wildflowers are ubiquitous in spring where I live, and most people have no clue they're two different plants because of their similar shape (tall stems, leafy tops) and similarly colored and shaped flowers. Purple deadnettle and henbit both belong to the mint family (if you rub the leaves they smell minty!) and look quite similar, but like these lil wyrms, they aren't too hard to tell apart with a little looking. :>

These tiny wyrms are equipped with venom-filled stingers they use to immobilize their prey. When threatened, they flare their leafy-frilled manes and roar- something like this.
