I wasn't sure if I should share these redesigns because they were from a speed redesign challenge so they're a bit sloppy, but I think they're cute and I do what I want (:<
The amazing Miggea did a pokemon type redesign challenge during a stream yesterday afternoon, and she invited her viewers to join in! We had something like 15 minutes for our redesigns. :> For those that don't know pokemon well, pokemon have a "type" sort of like an element, and pokemon of different types teeeeend to share certain traits, colors, or overall vibes. When you redesign a pokemon as a different type, you'll often be changing its color and body shape to fit the new type.

This is Spectrier as a poison type! Spectrier is a ghost type legendary from the most recent generation that brought us Sword and Shield, gen 8, and it's got an ice-type counterpart, Glastrier. Originally it's a black, smokey-maned horse with ghostly detached hooves, and it has a purple mane. Purple and black work great as poison-type colors, so I kept those, but I made the eyes yellow for a bit of pop and contrast! I wanted it to look gloopy, a bit radioactive, and intimidating, so it's got lots of drips and puddles. I think it's a bit on the boring side for a legendary, but hey, whatchu gonna do in 15 minutes. XD The fancy pose is because we got to talking about Centaurworld during this challenge and of course Who is She came up, and the rest is history.
