Type: pure (blue jay+banded sea krait)
Gender: male
The only uncommon trait I used was a large feather crest. All other traits used were common.

Ahhhhhhhhhhh fffffbptsd- he and my second entry (soon to be posted) were so much fun to design and draw! I managed to find a huge number of bird and snake pairs I thought would go together beautifully, but I ended up picking this combo because blue jays are one of my favorite birds- and the two flow together so well! The black ring around a blue jay's neck just lent itself so neatly to starting the sea krait's stripessss and just- eeeeeee. I'm super pleased with this design. ^^

Maas is bold and brash- and luckily, clever enough to hold his own in an argument or talk himself out of any trouble he talks himself into. His confidence is inspiring to some and only irritating to others, but he does what he wants no matter what others think.
With his elliptical wings and rudder-like tail, he has great control and maneuverability and he can achieve rapid ascent and decent, sharp turns, and low-speed flight.
