Hmm? I don't r- Wait..... wait a minute.. I got it now..

Based on some of the doujins I've either read, or watched: Alice is a human, now a youkai thanks to the Grimiore. She made a lot of dolls, and made some friends. But with some doujins I've either read, or seen... She's usually portrayed as a loner, a girl who goes psychopathic (crazy for Marisa), or..... just doesn't have friends, and only have her dolls as her friends. Though, the more she hangs out with her dolls, the more lonely she is. She hates everyone, and only loves her dolls, and want to treat them as friends. As Yukari mentioned about the gap inside her, Alice's "gap" is dark, lonely, and shadowy, to the point that she can't.... make her dark heart go away. And based on the OTHER doujinshi, she loved Marisa a lot, but she notices that, they're both different. Alice tries to leave, but Marisa confronted her, on a rainy night. Marisa persuades Alice, that they're both the same. Yet.... Alice disagrees with that statement, but notices how much feelings Marisa had inside Alice. So she stays.

But the idea of Alice being a loner, no friends, and different just.... fits with the song, Untitled by Simple Plans.
