First of all: I don't want to start a fight.
I just wonder why, when a fat girl post her photos, usually no one tells her that it's not healty too..
And, why should that be considered "art" and this not?
Also I think everyone should read SylphidArt's explanations, on the main page.

My 2 cents... I realize that this girl is incredibly thin, so much so that it's easy to assume she's sick or has an eating disorder or both. However, while it may not seem to be in the best taste for a photographer to capture images of this, it doesn't make a difference under the umbrella of art. Consider this: taking pictures of girls who are 18 with breast implants / pictures of obese women / or recently in NY, taking pictures of a man trying to get off the tracks at a subway station (who a minute later was killed)
Whether you like it or not doesn't change the fact that photography as an art is about capturing an image which says something. You think to yourself "This girl could look beautiful if she gained some weight and looked "healthy" well maybe that is the point of capturing these images. It's hard for me to look at these, and I'm likely not to revisit them, but whether you take a picture of an ugly girl, fat girl, skinny girl, or average girl, nude or clothed, it can still be art.

Well, what is art then? Only pictures who apply to a certain ideal of classical beauty? Then art would be dead and unable to evolve. Rather, I think the most interesting pieces of art are those that are offbeat, thought provoking and dare to play with new concepts of esthetic.

You will never accept that this illness is some kind of suicide, huh? How stupid. This is no art. Sure beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but understand, this is NO beauty. This is sick! You could also put a picture in your gallerie of a child which has bruises and everything and a man next to him is doing whatever...you can say this is okay...this is no violence...but most people would say this is violence, and that is the SAME thing with your pictures of this woman. She is ill, and holy shit, she is not beautiful anymore. And you won't help her, by treating her as a model. This girl will die if she does not fight against this illness.
