SPOILER FOR DAY OF THE BLACK SUN!!!

I honestly thought zuzu had set the bar of expectations so low for himself that i'd be thrilled when he finally unheaded his sphincter, stood up to Daddy, and went to join the Gaang.

I was wrong.

I LAUGHED when Zuko burst into Iroh's prison cell, only to find that the Pwnsome One had escaped on his own - my first thought was along the lines of: "And how many times has Iroh had to save YOUR ass? Bitch, plz."

So, this comic is the result. I wish Iroh HAD left that note.

P.S. - the girl with the skillet is yours truly, as general of Iroh's Army.

...So true. You made me laugh out loud when I saw this straight after the episode. Still makes me laugh now. I love the pose of Zuzu in the first panel, followed by his epic fail displayed in scribbly Sylva-patented colour and delightful revelations that he is, indeed, an asshat of the most grandiose variety.

Dear, you're not the only one *laughs mercilessly at his attempt at becoming a smart/deep character, particularly the line, "...think about our place in the universe?"*

I do think Katara's laying it on a bit thick though. We get it, you hate him, but can't you see how unpleasant it is for poor Aang? Any more bitterness and you'll make him fall out of love with you! *senses the Zutara shippers moving in* I ship Zutara, but I don't think she's just going to fall into asshat no. 1's arms. At least not until he starts being less of one.

...maybe she'll fall in love with Iroh instead, when he finally appears and bitches out Zuko?! The mind boggles....

am i the only one who got pissed when he believed iroh killed the last dragon, and then said, "complicated pasts run in the family" (paraphrased). I swear, the next time he compares himself to iroh except to say he's not worthy to poor his tea, i swear i'll draw him in a pink sparkly princess costume.

I'm actually enjoying how bitchy katara can be - i keep hearing my inner ghost-jet sniggering and saying, "Hey, nice to know I wasn't the only one!"

jun would bitchslap katara out of existence if she so much as flashed googly eyes at iroh. I can't wait for her to show up again.

So i guess that just leaves zutara.

Well, I think it's acceptable because he's trying to work his way up to being as awesome as Iroh. Remember the forehead-clutching angst at the beginning of WAT? That made me think there was hope... I still want Iroh to knock Zuko on his whiny little butt when he meets up with the Gaang again (You know he will, if only just to share tea with Toph again ) because he's honestly too nice to Zuzu.

...That's actually one thing I'd love to see - Katara remembering that Azula calls Zuko 'Zuzu' (she did say it in front of Katara in The Chase, didn't she?) and using it to mock him around camp. I can imagine him carrying something heavy, someone calling out "Zuzu" and him dropping it on his toes. I would draw that, had I any talent. *shrug*

Jun is AWESOME. Has it been confirmed she's showing up again?! I took her inclusion in the super-deformed shorts as a good sign though.

And honestly, Sylva, has it taken you this long to realise that ALL roads lead to Zutara? *maniacal giggle*
