Series: Plight of the Freedom Fighters: Seed of Memory by ~PFFbySIOWhat with the contest running over at , I've been hemming and hawing over putting in an entry (unofficially). And then ~Alycat handed me an SDK meme and... I got this unreasonable urge to draw a quasi-Kamijyo style group-shot, and make it into a tankobon "cover".
yeah. *coughs* Hey, blame the jet-lag, the airplane, the caffeine and Alycat!
P.S. - Alycat, I'm working on the meme, I PROMISE!
Anywho, there will be a nicer, colored version, don't worry, but i wanted to post this and pimp the PFF2 Official Contest!

The inspiration were these Samurai Deeper Kyo pieces: [link] & [link] & [link] Seriously, if i could find a way to approximate kamijyo-sensei's coloring style, this would be truly EPIC.
(P.S. - if you're looking for a good samurai manga series, i highly recommend this one - the anime is crap on a cracker, but the manga is glorious. One of the characters is my official first!girl!crush.
