Series: Tales of the Spirit World: The Demon Prince in ExileCheck out Human!Wan Shi Tong!
(oh yes, I went there... fufufufu...)Um... actually, i really want to rant about this picture, but I have no idea where to start, so I'll just hit a couple highlights:
1) Kuzunoha sounds like Sigourney Weaver in my head. Not quite sure how that's relevant, but anyway...
2) Her outfit is quasi-Heian (Japanese), because her name comes from an old Japanese fairytale -> [link] (that, and I just wanted to try that style)
3) Kuzunoha will be the subject of the next TOSW, once Fall of the Blue Spirit concludes - I already have several chapter outlined in my head (Wan Shi Tong fans are probably going to be thrilled... :3)

Kuzonoha is goregous! From her kimono, to her tail and ears and face and the very lushious tail.
The scroll is equally impressive. The shading and all the characters. ALmost makes me wish I could read it.
Then the background,the floor, paper screen door, and the way Kuzonoha is staring at it. Is she expecting someone?

i had a bunch of old chinese poems, scanned and reformatted them, and then placed them on the scroll. i can't write chinese, so i thought that would be the best way to go, instead of insulting the chinese culture.
