New universe because I can never just have one!

I've just been calling it my 'a bit to the left universe' (LeftVerse for short), because the only thing that's really special about it is that it's sort of a no drama verse (no elements, no big baddies, etc), and all the mane 6 have gone down different life paths.

Some of them are definitely less "in character" as others, but I just think it would be fun to see the girls in different environments.

Twilight Sparkle is a well known romance author. Definitely less put together than canon Twi - maybe a little closer to how Twi is at the beginning of the series - awkward and introverted - but with less of the seriousness. Her writing is definitely a little flowery and cheesy, but ponies eat it up.

Applejack is a famous country singer. Pretty much the same personality as canon. A lot of her money goes to the farm, and her concessions are always Sweet Apple Acres goods. She's a little intimidated by the fame at times, but she's gotten used to it (although she has gotten a little short tempered with paparazzi at times).

Fluttershy is an herbalist and a hippie. She became part of a community that helped her get over a lot of her shyness, and she started making herbal medicines that help other ponies ailments (some of them are more helpful than others). She's a lot more like Treehugger.

Pinkie Pie is a circus acrobat. She travels Equestria with her circus and performs at the best festivals all over. She's chaotic and a real risk taker, always wanting to amp up her performances. (Luckily, her Pinkie Sense saves her a lot). She struggles a lot with whether she wants to ever settle down anywhere or not.

Rarity is an artist. Her specialty is sculpting, but she dabbles in most mediums. She's a little more jaded than canon Rarity, determined to make her art career work, but she's had lots of troubles making money for her work - until the Princesses asked her to do their royal portraits. After that, it was easier for her to find work, but she still is very pessimistic about where her career will go.

Rainbow Dash is a member of Celestia's Royal Guard. During flight school, she wanted to be able to try out for the Wonderbolts, but after one too many incidents on her permanent record (varying degrees of pranks, skipping school, etc.), basically everyone said she needed to get her act straight. So, her parents, after a lot of hard conversations, decided Dash needed to enroll in bootcamp. Dash is a great member of the Guard, one of Celestia's favorites because she still has that sense of humor that a lot of Guards don't have.
