There had been HAD been a 6-issue limited series named STEELGRIP STARKEY AND THE ALL-PURPOSE POWER TOOL. It was about the best effort of Marvel. Beautifully drawn, well-written, with likable characters. The only moments of crude/profane language were by (1)a drunken or drugged person,. and (2)a man beside himself with pain,his hand hurt in a nasty tumble.
A mysterious Mr.Pilgrim created the APPT which,tho the size & shape of a portable sewing machine, can evolve into a huge engine to do any imaginable job.Job done,it returns the extra mass to the universe and reverts back into the portable box.
I was hoping HOPING for a continuation of this series, BUT Marvel instead gave us Wolverine losing an eyeball and a whole superhero mutant team almost wiped out (X-Stasix) in their 1st issue. This turned me away from Marvel for a good time.
It happened again when Jean Grey's family got wiped out.Rachel Summers swore revenge. MY revenge is to out Marvel for good now !
