Komodo's are bipedal dragons from the DragonQuest series that are also known as Mini-Drak's in some of the earlier games. I've always found them to be quite cute and love obtaining them in the Monsters spin-off series, though as an F-Rank monster they're quickly replaced by "better" monsters. I put better in quotations since most any monster can remain mostly relevant through the breeding/synthesizing mechanics.
