Commission by who has the most lovely and adorable art style~The characters are my Netherdrake Leonidas and my sona in the form of a 'Corgidile'.
Netherdrakes are the creation of Blizzard (First introduced as ethereal limbless 'ghosts', and years later were portrayed as these dragons with a shark-like appearance with physical forms instead.)

Wait a second....Leonidas? Like the famous Greek warrior? Well, it most certainly fits here.

Teh story behind it was nothing grand. I was playing Civilization IV, and was losing all my territory in a three-way war. Eventually I had accumulated enough EXP gained for the game to grant me a "Great General" unit and his name just happened to be Leonidas. I had him lead one of my Archer units since having him train future soliders would be useless - I was under attack NOW and the forces wouldn't get trained fast enough. Well the attacks came and 17 units suicided against Leonidas's archery defense.
He continued to hold off the enemy while I got things back in shape in my core territory, and then went on the offensive, driving the other leaders back and taking all their stuff >:3
I woulda lost that game if it wasn't for that moment. I named my drake (Who I saw as a very protective individual) Leonidas after that.

Nice...it does fit very well. And Nothing grand? With this...I think it's pretty amazing. It's kinda like some wars in history we've been studying...
