Description
This ink drawing was done on ivory card stock in a triptick format to fit as binder cover (front, spine, and back). I have not had the chance to give it color but the idea is festering. But, like I have adviced others if I do experiment with color it would be on a copy not the original.Related content

Meh. It matters not. The piece is strong enough as it is.
And, yeah, about proportions... You can tool around wth them all you want if you wish to achieve a different effect. If you want realism, the eyes should be closer together (If I remember correctly, the head is five eyes wide, such that, from the front, there is one eye on either side of the face along the axis containing the eye, then the eyes themselves, then one eye width in the middle), and the nose should be more than a bump. That's it, really.
Anywho... way better than I could have done; I'm still working with constructing heads.
Quite a strong piece. I really like the engraving feel it has due to the penwork and the way you intertwine her robe and the sea. Good job.

Very nice! I was never good with ink.
If I have any advice, it would be to retitle your piece. The correct spelling is triptych. Also, the face looks a bit off, probably due to the distance between the eyes and the blunteness of the nose, but that is just stylistic.

Thanx I will make the title change. As far as the face i see what you mean and unless i draw from a model this tends to happen even though I know the proportions! its very frustrating..
