Description
FULL view needed for this to worka stereoscopic version of my design;
[ golden intersection ]
to view stereoscopic images properly:
cross your eyes inwards so that your vision is blurry and doubled.
you will then see 4 images instead of 2.
then slowly, and steadily uncross your eyes
so that the 4 images blend back to just 3.
hold this eye-position. relax. and stare at the center of the image.
your eyes will automatically focus (like a camera lense)
the image is no longer blurry, and creates a naturally 3d effect.
enjoy the optical magic of stereoscopic imagery.
note: technically NOT a stereoscopic image. read more here: stereoscopy

I was wondering why I can't see any deep...well yes there is some but it looked to me very flat. I would like to have two cameras and shoot a landing plane in 3D.
The most people can't understand even when a manual is written down how to look at it

yeah i cheated by not altering the perspective, but like you said, most people can't understand how to view stereoscopic images which is probably why you're the first person to finally bring that up.
The easiest way to explain it is to cross your eyes so that your vision becomes blurry and doubled. (so if there are 2 images infront of you when you cross your eyes they would become 4 images.
Then slowly uncross your eyes so that the 4 images slide back into eachother to become just 3 images. that middle image is now stereoscopic 3d, once your eyes focus on it like a camera lens.
I love stereoscopic vision but it does tend to make my eyes want to cris-cross more often when I relax them! >_<

Well you know as "normalo" I would stop to understand: Crossing the eyes, something with blury."I get it! now what....slowly uncross 4 to 3 images...O_o I'll give it up...
Well thatas how in the most cases was
Anyway nice picture.

yeah it is strange trying to explain the 'slowly uncrossing your eyes so that 4 images slide back into 3'.
the way I see it, when you cross your eyes you get blurry double-vision. you see 2 of everything. with 2 images infront of you that would then be 4. and by slowly letting your eyes settle back out of the 'double vision' they slide into eachother, get it right and the 'middle' image is your magical 3d stereoscopic view. it's extraordinary how optical illusions work. I'd love to buy 2 identical cameras and tape them together, side by side to take genuine stereoscopic photography!

Thats what I would like too... they have not to be the same type... as I, for example have the EOS 20D and I have had before EOS 300D... I could use both although EOS300D has 6MPX and EOS 20D 8MPX.
So you could try some compact/cam.
Once I will upload more of my 3D pics...once

nice camera collection. You should upload more. I might be one of the only people on here who willl be able to look at them properly though
